Your mindset matters. Especially when it comes to generating ideas for your business. For 30 years, we have employed a method called Forness® thinking, which encourages wild ideas as well as practical ones.

This tactic allows you and your team to evaluate EVERY idea on its actual and potential value — first by looking at what's good about it (what you're "FOR"), then figuring out ways you wish to make it better (what you "wish FOR"). It prevents the early death of an interesting idea by "yes, but" responses:

No Yes, But "Yes, but it's too expensive."
"Yes, but we already tried that."
"Yes, but it's impossible to make."

By banning the "yes, but" in our projects, we widen the scope of ideas and opportunities.
