When Bissell needed a name to get their new floor cleaner the attention it deserved, they turned to Ideas To Go. Because their product is unique in its ability to vacuum and steam clean at the same time, the challenge was to find a memorable namethat conveys the power of multiple patented technologies working seamlessly together. The Bissell team engaged Ideas To Go to facilitate an online ideation session so they could build on the insights and ideas of 20 Creative Consumers® associates. Together, they came up with over 5,000 ideas. From this extensive list of functional and creative names, the team culled the lead 100 to take through the obligatory legal process and testing, resulting in the winning name to take to launch. We applaud their choice of Symphony—a name that perfectly captures working in harmony. Take a bow, Bissell!
