Behind the Creative Minds of the Theater in Quarantine YouTube Series
In their Theater in Quarantine YouTube series, Josh and Katie Rose—two Creative Consumers® associates—live stream various plays, dance work, variety performances and more to their YouTube channel, all from home! It is an exploration of digital story telling during a weird, stay-at-home world. Within the series, you might find Josh locked in his closet, turning in every direction to leave you guessing which way is up and which way is down. It turns out being confined to that small closet space has actually opened a lot of opportunities for creative storytelling, enabling more spontaneous creation in the moment. They can adapt to an ever-changing story and make calls on the fly that would prove impossible if they were on an official theatrical stage. With each new action and decision made during the live stream, they open up exponentially more possibilities to adapt and go off script.
