What is a Creative Consumers® Associate?

Creative Consumers® associates are a carefully selected group of people, trained by ITG to be active innovation partners, not just passive survey respondents. When the world's biggest brands need fresh thinking, they come to us. We bring them you.

You’ll participate in live co-creation sessions—in person or virtually—where your ideas directly influence how new products, services, and campaigns are developed. Your voice shapes what ends up on shelves.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Co-create new product ideas alongside brand teams at major companies.

  • React to and improve early concepts, where your perspective helps brands get it right.

  • Participate in live, energetic workshops.

  • Share your real-world experiences to ground brand innovation in authentic human needs.

  • Get paid for every session you’re selected for.

Who We're Looking For

You need to think creatively, communicate clearly, and ready to share insights into your life. Our Creative Consumers® associates tend to be:

  • Naturally curious and opinionated about products, trends, and everyday experiences.

  • Articulate, comfortable sharing ideas out loud and explaining their thinking.

  • Energetic in group settings and collaborative by nature.

  • Open-minded, imaginative, and willing to think beyond the obvious.

How It Works

Step 1 — Take the Creativity Screener (~5 minutes)
Answer a short set of questions designed to assess how you think and communicate ideas. There are no wrong answers!

Step 2 — Attend a Live (and paid) Training Session (~2 hours, virtual)
If you pass the screener, you'll be invited to a live orientation and training hosted by ITG. You’ll learn how our process works, our mindset for creativity, and what's expected of a Creative Consumers® associate.

Step 3 — You're In
Those who complete training are officially added to our panel. From there, ITG will reach out when a project matches your profile.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Compensation varies by session type and length, and is communicated before you commit to anything. Sessions typically range from 2–8 hours and pay accordingly (8 hours is in person… we’d never make you sit on Zoom for 8 hours!).

  • Qualifying surveys are sent out frequently—the more you respond to, the more likely you are to work a project! While some things are out of our control, most Creative Consumers® associates can expect to work between 2-12 live sessions each year. So this is not a full time position, but it is a fun opportunity to get paid to think creatively!

  • Many sessions are virtual, so location is often flexible. Most in-person sessions require travel (that you will get paid for ON TOP of the session’s pay). Any required travel will always be clearly specified upfront, before you commit.

  • Each session is typically 2–4 hours online, or a full day in person, scheduled in advance with plenty of notice. It's designed to work around your life, and we pay you for any travel!

  • No hard feelings — you're welcome to reapply in the future, and we appreciate you giving it a shot.
